Watch
out for those strong perfumes!
Some
perfumes, lotions, antiperspirants, deodorants, and perspiration
contain chemicals that can cause discoloration. The sooner you have
them cleaned, the better the chances of your garments retaining
their original color.
Clean
matching garments simultaneously.
In order to assure that your textiles always match, wash them all
at the same time so if discoloration occurs, they will discolor
at an even rate. Using the same logic, expose your matching garments
to same amount of sunlight.
Heat
helps seal stains
If you get a stain, ironing it down only complicates its removal.
